It's Anjalika's birthday! We thought we'd try something extravagant. The food was so good I kept forgetting to take pictures.
My drink, Strawberry Tea. Refreshing, just appropriate for summer days. In the background you can see the leftover of salt and pepper squid, and empty container of some dumplings.
Peking duck. I've had better.... Instead of crispy duck skin, you get a thick slice of meat. Quite disappointing actually, although it is still tasty.
Some vegetarian dumplings with mushrooms etc. All yummy! I want more.....
Despite the blurry picture, this is actually one of their best desserts. We had the usual egg custard tarts and mango puddings and also these delicious chocolate dumplings. Crispy glutinous rice dumplings (soft and stretchy) with warm melted chocolate filling that just oozes out as you bit, coated with sesame seeds, drizzled with more chocolate sauce. BTW, there are three pieces per serve.
