Had a morning tea at work at around 10 am. I had two pieces of fried chicken and a piece of custard bun. So when it came to lunch, I just had to have something light. So to Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery, which is a Buddhist temple + gallery/library with a tea house, I went. I used to go there a couple of years ago, when lunch boxes ala bento were served. But the tea house has gone through quite a lot of change and now serves mainly cakes with a small numbers of dim-sum style snacks and just three types of noodle dish.
These are what I shared with Shir Reen.
Vegetable buns
These chives + mushrooms buns are the best I have ever had so far. The buns are so soft and the filling is very tasty.
Vegetarian barbecued "pork"
Yummy!
Kum Quat Tea - $7.00 a pot
Certainly a must have drink. The warmth and sweetness of this "tea" is very soothing to the throat.
